Industrial Site Traffic Proposed to Use B1256 Takeley Street
The developer’s screening request document states: “There is the potential that during both the construction and operation of the Proposed Development, there could be an increase in traffic along the local road network.”
Their careful use of the word “POTENTIAL” is a deliberate attempt to downplay the reality. In truth, this development will lead to a significant daily increase in all types of traffic. If you think rush hour is bad now, it will only worsen once hundreds of additional vehicles begin moving to and from the site every day.
We have more detailed information on this matter but cannot share it yet. To ensure the developers cannot adjust their plans to counter our points, we will disclose it when we submit our formal objection to the planning application.
