The Takeley Street Action Group GoFundMe page is now live, and we need your support.
As many of you know, the proposed development on Land North of Taylors Farm would place a large-scale industrial warehouse site directly next to homes, countryside and close to Hatfield Forest. If approved, it would permanently change our area, bringing increased HGV traffic, noise, pollution and serious safety concerns.
Over recent months, TSAG has grown to represent hundreds of local residents. To ensure our objections are taken seriously, we have already had to commission independent expert advice, including transport, environmental, noise, landscape and planning input, as well as legal matters. This work is essential to properly challenge the developer’s submission. We are grateful that some companies and professionals have already offered their support free of charge; however, a significant proportion of this work has still come at a considerable cost.
The GoFundMe has been set up to help:
- Commission independent expert reports and professional advice
- Instruct legal representatives and planning support
- Day-to-day campaign costs such as website hosting, printing, signage and communications
Depending on how the planning process unfolds, funds may also be needed to challenge any approval through Judicial Review.
This campaign is not about opposing all development — it is about stopping the wrong development in the wrong place, and standing up for our homes, safety, countryside and community.
